The WACOMP held its third Steering Committee Meeting, through a Videoconference, on November 10, 2020.
After the presentation and adoption of the agenda/work program, the participants were presented with

- The status of implementation of the recommendations of the second meeting of the Strategic Steering Committee,
- The status of the implementation of the regional component
- Progress on the development of regional value chains
- Activities aimed at communicating the Program and giving it the visibility expected by stakeholders 
- The status of the implementation of the national components 
The meeting was attended by Mr. Kurt CORNELIS, Head of Cooperation, European Union Delegation to Nigeria and ECOWAS; the representative of Mrs. Fily BOUARE SISSOKO, Commissioner for Enterprise Development, Mines, Energy, and Digital Economy, WAEMU Commission; Mr. Mamadou TRAORE, Commissioner for Industry and Private Sector Promotion, ECOWAS Commission.
Through the WACQIP project that it implements, UNIDO has actively participated in the work, with a team led by Bernard Bau, Project Manager.
