ECOWAS journalists equipped to promote the WAAQP and the ECOWAS Quality Award

The West Africa Quality System Program (WAQSP) held from 8 to 9 December 2016 in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, a major training workshop for ECOWAS journalists on Quality Infrastructure and ECOWAS Quality Award.

This workshop, which brought together some 20 journalists from all the countries of ECOWAS in addition to Mauritania, is part of the objective of integrating quality culture among the interested actors of the Program. The aim was to teach journalists the concepts of Quality Infrastructure and the criteria of the first ECOWAS Quality Award so as to improve the quality of their articles and productions in the field.

Thus, for two days, various training experts successively addressed, in turn, the generalities and challenges of quality, the components of the Quality Infrastructure, the conduct of the ECOWAS Quality Award, the Ivory Coast’s experience on the organization of the Ivorian Quality Award (IQA) and the main thrusts of the communication strategy of the ECOWAS Quality Award.
