Regional capacity building workshop for candidate assessors of accreditation bodies of the ECOWAS Regional Accreditation System (ECORAS)

The WAQSP is organizing, from 11 to 13 July 2018, in Abuja, Nigeria, a capacity-building workshop for candidate assessors of the accreditation bodies of the ECOWAS Regional Accreditation System (ECORAS).The objective of the workshop is to make available in the Member States the expertise on the ISO 17020 standard for the accreditation of inspection bodies.

Will participate in this workshop:

- the candidate evaluators nominated by the three accrediting bodies of the ECORAS region, including the WAEMU Member State Organization, the West African Accreditation System (SOAC), the accreditation body Ghana (GhaNAS) and the Nigerian Accreditation Body (NiNAS);

- resource persons in the field of drug control, in the context of technical assistance in the quality of the PSQAO provided to the West African Health Organization (WAHO);

- National Focal Points for accreditation of countries that do not yet have accreditation bodies
